WASHINGTON, Jan 19 (PRIME) -- Russia’s investment in U.S. treasury bills fell to U.S. $2.4 billion in November from $3.7 billion in October, the U.S. Treasury Department said on Wednesday.

Russia held $101 million of long-term U.S. securities and $2.308 billion of short-term securities in November.

Russia is not among the largest owners of the U.S. debt, as Moscow has been decreasing its $96 billion holding since 2018.
